We can make Genuine Mahogany edge grain butcher block countertops with thickness up to 5" thick, width up to 120" wide and length up to 186" long. Butcher block countertops are available in many other hardwood species. Edge grain butcher block countertops can also be made with mixed wood species. Our butcher block countertops and wood countertops are available unfinished or prefinished. We offer butcher block countertops with the following finish options, acrylic urethane finish, food safe mineral oil finish and poured epoxy finish. We also offer staining with the option of a standard stain color or custom stain matching. Genuine Mahogany butcher block countertops and wood countertops can be made with a large selection of edge details ranging from a slight eased edge to decorative classic and ogee edge details. Butcher block countertops and wood countertops are a great choice for kitchens or any other room if you like the natural warmth and beauty of wood. Hardwood Lumber Company edge grain butcher block countertops are made with 1" wide edge grain strips. Solid wood strips go the full length of our butcher block countertops giving them a better appearance and more durability then blended butcher blocks offered by some other butcher block manufacturers where short strips are joined together. Butcher block countertops are also great for island tops, tabletops or bar tops. We now also offer the option for a sink cutout, stove cutout and other custom cuts. Most of our woodworkers are craftsman from the local Amish community.

Genuine Mahogany is also known as Honduran Mahogany. The heartwood can vary a fair amount from a pale pinkish brown, to a darker reddish brown. Genuine Mahogany grain can be straight, interlocked, irregular or wavy. Genuine Mahogany is typically very easy to work with, machines well, sands very easily, glues, stains, and finishes well. We use only the higher quality grades of Genuine Mahogany lumber for our products.
