End Grain Island
Customize Your End Grain Butcher Block Island
This solid wood kitchen island features four classical style table legs, a base shelf, and a traditional end grain butch block top.
Designed to unite traditional butcher block and an elegantly modern profile, this heirloom quality island is handcrafted to fit your needs. Choose from wood species, select dimensions, and finish options to make this island uniquely yours.
What Is End Grain?
End grain construction is the traditional way to make butcher blocks. End grain is made by gluing together small wood blocks with the ends facing up, creating a checkerboard pattern. This construction makes them incredibly durable.

To ensure your hardwood furniture remains a cherished part of your home for years, a few simple care steps are recommended. Dust regularly with a soft, clean cloth, always wiping in the direction of the wood grain. For cleaning, use a mild, wood-safe cleaner applied sparingly with a lightly dampened cloth, followed by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. Protect your furniture from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity changes, which can cause fading or damage. Always use coasters, placemats, and trivets to protect surfaces from moisture, heat, and scratches.
