Our stair treads and risers are milled with new state of the art equipment. We can make the stair treads with a left or right hand return. Or we can make them with a double end return to any length. Stair treads are available in standard sizes or can be custom made to your specifications. Stair treads and risers are also available in almost any other hardwood species.
We now offer staining and prefinishing on all our wood stair treads and risers. On our clear finishes we put on 3 coats of a commercial grade catalyzed varnish to give it a hard and durable finish. The prefinished stair treads end up looking great with a clear, natural finish that is hard to beat! On the stained wood stair treads and risers a stain is applied, then 3 coats of varnish. If you want your treads stained you can choose from one of Woodwright's standard stain colors, or you can send us a sample to have color matched.
