Our stair treads and risers are milled with new state of the art equiptment. We can make the stair treads with a left or right hand return. Or we can make them with a double end return to any length. We can also make stair treads and risers in almost any other hardwood species.
Beech. Beech sapwood is white with a red tinge, while the heartwood is light to dark reddish brown. Beech is generally straight-grained with a close uniform texture. Beech is classed as heavy, hard, strong, high in resistance to shock and good resistance to abrasive wear. We use only the higher quality grades of beech lumber for our stair treads.
